Fraktal is ambitious and independent. It is located on the first floor of Mayor54. Its viability does not depend on public subsidies, political parties, or private companies. That is why we need financial support from people like you.
In these times of inequality, a machine for producing equality coming to you fromPamplona. A tool against urban commodification, social dispossession, security-state harassment, and boredom. An infrastructure of the commons in the face of the reactionary tide.
Katakrak is MECNA-certified.
If you pay taxes in Navarre, you can claim a tax deduction for a portion of your crowdfunding contribution. If you’re an individual, you’ll be entitled to an income tax deduction of 80% on the first 250 euros donated and 40% on the remainder.
For example: if you donate 250 euros, you’ll be entitled to deduct 200 euros (80% of 250 euros) on your income tax return. Another example: if you donate 1,000 euros, you’ll be entitled to deduct 200 euros for the first 250 euros donated and another 300 euros after applying a 40% deduction to the remaining 750 euros—500 euros in total.
If you are a business, the amount contributed reduces your taxable income because it is considered a deductible expense; in addition, you receive a deduction of 30% of the net tax liability on the first 300 euros and 20% on the amount after that.
WE’RE STARTING
WITH THE
ROOF
Katakrak is embarking on this adventure the old-fashioned
way: you button up your coat and head out into the street,
ready to give it your all. In this case, we’re fixing the roof,
which was in need of some work. And we’re setting out in search of new
challenges, in a time fraught with threats.
The crowdfunding campaign will run until December 31.
We’re aiming for a minimum of €330,000 (for the roof and the shelter) and a
maximum of €630,000 (the total of all proposed projects).
If you also believe we should shake off the political gloom
and build a space for action connected to others on a European scale, please donate.
And in any case, if we do not raise the requested funds, we will seek resources through other channels.

REWARDS
Sending you pins, tote bags, books from the Katakrak publishing house, DVDs of social documentaries from Eguzki Bideoak, and treating you to lunch would have been more of the same. And it would have meant giving in to a profitable promotion at the expense of the precarious situation of those who make deliveries on scooters and bicycles, often without a residence permit or health insurance card.
Instead, we’ll be hosting a costume party this spring to which we invite you. In addition to handing out those trinkets, there will be a photo op, vermouth and refreshments, stand-up comedy, live music, guided tours, a darkroom, a free first-aid station, and marijuana-infused pastries. Generous people do not live by bread alone.
If, despite everything, you have a special interest in receiving a pin, a tote or a book from the Katakrak publishing house, let us know and we’ll gladly send you what you need. Let no one be left without their keepsake.
25€
On the day of the party, you can pin a badge to your blouse, guayabera, corduroy jacket, leather jacket, protest T-shirt, or blazer—preferably without losing it when you get carried away on the dance floor.
50€
On the day of the party, you can stuff your broken high heel, feather boa, wig, and cell phone with the cracked screen—the one you dropped into the mojito punch bowl—into a tote bag.
100€
On the day of the party, you can add a movie from the Eguzki Bideoak catalog to your tote bag so that one winter day, on your DVD player, you can remember how people fought twenty years ago against the Itoitz reservoir and the eviction of community centers in our city.
250€
On the day of the party, you can pack several DVDs from the Eguzki Bideoak catalog into your backpack to learn about how, two decades ago, people fought against the gentrification of cities and the destruction of the land, and in favor of historical culture, feminisms, and an alternative economy.
500€
On the day of the party, you can add a couple of books from the Katakrak publishing house’s catalog to your backpack—in Spanish or Basque; critical essays and universal revolutionary literature are just as useful for sparking debates as they are for wedging the living room table.
1.000€
On the day of the festival, you can fill your backpack to the brim with whatever you want, as long as you can stay upright and tell us your own name.
OTHER AMOUNT
We invite you to the spring party. Come eat and drink in costume until you can’t take it anymore.
